What’s HAPPENING in Lake Helen, Florida
Recently, the Federal Government gave the City of Lake Helen approximately $1,000,000 to use as we believe best. This gift is an extraordinary, unprecedented, and unique opportunity to enhance our city, but it suggests the need for direction and goals.
As you consider and prioritize your suggestions, please consider the following:
- The funding should provide for the enhancement of what makes Lake Helen special
- The funding should be used for enhancements that benefit all citizens equally
- The funding should be used as broadly as possible and not just on one big project
